    What's it worth....Rem 700 BDL 30-06

I'm looking to purchase something on the Classifieds Section and want to replace those funds by selling my 30-06 later. I'm just curious what the GS thought might be a good starting place to price it (I don't want to price it at $1 if it's worth $100,00 LOL)??

I called Remington a couple weeks ago and checked the serial number (along with several other guns) and it was made in the late 60's or early 70's, I can't remember which.

Thanks....sorry got the crappy iPhone pic

Looks to be in good shape. Saw one at BPS on the used shelf for $700 I believe. Beautiful gun

Very minor scratches and dents for a 40 year old rifle. Thanks

Looks like an after market recoil pad was added , what's the LOP ?

I'm guessing around $525 for the rifle w/out optics

        What is the serial # ... i.e. B645*** ?
Any close up pics of both sides of the action ?

        I don't think it's a late 60's since the bolt shroud looks older .

Bump for a very nice rifle , and would make a great donor for a custom build

$400 for the action or as Blake said 5 to 525 for the gun.

I just sold a very clean 700 BDL 25-06 with a matching 3x9 Redfield Wideview from the 70's for $650 cash.

              Thanks Blake.

#1 It is an aftermarket Limbsaver "grindable" pad. I do have the original butt pad.

#2 I'll post up the serial number tonight.

#3 I'll add those pics tonight but it a Jeweled bolt if that matters???

#4 I just don't shoot the gun any more (safe queen) because it's just more recoil than I care to deal with so a custom shooter is out for me.

I found a rifle in the classifieds that might work better for me

                no problem tx

for $600 you could have a custom match grade barrel installed and action trued

would make a sweet 25-06 or 6mm Rem deer/varmint combo caliber

To bad its not a magnum bolt face. Would make a gorgeous .300 (That's what I want right this minute anyways)

We can just settle it, I give you $300 . Rifle looks great $525 does sound correct but if selling online like TGT I would start at least $575 or $600. Good luck got the same style rifle from 1971, late grandfathers, worth about 1million to me.

Me personally, I would not turn loose of it for less than $650-$700 w/o optics. Had that same gun in .308 and hate myself for selling it!

                            I paid 600.00 about 6 weeks ago for aRem 700- 7mm Mag with Leopold II 3x9 x 40.

                            Very nice looking rifle

Looks like may of 1980? anybody else know. I think you look at the KA but if Remington said differ, the stock after a second look doesn't match my grandfathers 1971 model, but they could have sold different stocks back then, my dads 1983 bdl 30-06 looks just like yours. Following to see how it turns out.
