    AR Lower Build Question

I'm slowly working on my first AR build and I've got a couple questions. I'm definately going to install an aftermarket trigger and put and ambidextrous safety selector switch in (left handed). I know that a basic, cheap trigger assembly and safety switch come in a lower parts kit. If I buy the kit, obviously I will have these couple of things left over. Is this the best way to go, just buy the lower parts kit and have the left over standard trigger and safety selector parts? Just wanted tom make sure there's not a kit out there without these parts in it. Also, what lower parts kit, brand, do yall reccomend? I'm prety well trying to go with the best parts I can afford, just didn't want to go with something that was junk or regret them later. Thanks.

You can get a lower parts kit minus the trigger assembly. I'm not sure which is the best but I have used Rock River, Dpms, and Palmetto State Armory. I want to say the Rock River assembly was the best out of those but might just be because that went into a Rock River lower.. My favorite trigger is a JP enterprise.

Get a Daniel defense LPK without fire control group (trigger, hammer, spring)

Get an Giessele trigger. I run the SD E.

Or if you're on a budget look at the ALG ACT.

You can order all the part from most manufacturers at brownells.com. I buy all Colt parts for my lowers.

Look into alg.com for an FCG. The ACT is a $65 investment that will do wonders for single stage stuff. Lots of places sell them, and its the wife to the owner of giessle triggers.
