Got the Howa 2014 catalog today. This is a sharp looking rifle.

Nice looking guns. Seems like many manufacturers are making bolt guns that take detachable mags. Howa used to make the Weatherby Vanguard line of rifles before Weatherby moved production back to Kalifornia. The Japs are sticklers for quality and precision. When I was growing up made in Japan meant junk. Now Made in Japan is a quality item. Japan also makes the newer Winchesters and Brownings. Which are NOT junk by far.

I like the look and the they topped it off with a nikko stirling... Quality 99-120 dollar scope.

I wonder what it would cost to dip an actually nice scope in that same pattern? Cuz it looks like a cool coyote gun!

I love my Howa. My brother shoots one too. They are very well built if you handle one you can tell.

My dad's got one, i was kinda skeptical of it at first, but its a shooter for sure
