    SxS?

I know these are probably the least popular type of shotgun, but are any of ya'll fans of the side by sides? I like the CZ Bobwhite 20g though I'd probably want a little more oomph with a 16 for turkeys.

I've always shot sxs's. I have 2 Winchesters in 16 ga., one is 26", mod. and imp. and the other is 28", mod. and full. I bought the first one in 1966 and the other in 1971.

Always liked them, watching for the green screen favorites.

I have an older Stoeger 12 gauge with double triggers that my wife bought me when we were dating. It has 26" barrels but I wish they were 28" instead. It will never be valuable and is low end but it fits me like a glove and has sentimental value to it and I love it.

I have a csmc 20 gauge sxs that I love dearly. I hunt dove, quail and pheasants with pointers with it. Shoots and carries well. Beautiful gun. It's their RBL line. I found it on gun broker but had looked at them new for a while. My dream is a 16 gauge sxs. Thought about having one built in Spain.

Ain't nothing purtier than a 20 guage double with good wood.

I am a side by side nut. Love them dearly! Nothing like hunting over fine bird dogs with the right kind of double shotgun. Like my grandpa always said, god put your eyes side by side, so your shotgun barrels should be the same!

                      I have the following:

                      Winchester Model 23 - 12 ga.
                      Winchester Model 23 - 20 ga.
                      Browning BSS - 12 ga.
                      Browning BSS - 20 ga.
                      AYA No. 2 - 16 ga.
                      CSMC RBL - 28 ga.
                      Parker Reproduction - 28 ga.
                      Stevens 311 - .410

I hope to one day have a 20 ga. Fox CE grade, but that is out of the cards for a long while.....

Here is a picture of my CSMC RBL with a wild bob.

Oh man, that's a fine collection texas_shag! I'm on the lookout for a 20ga, a Winchester 23, Browning BSS, Ithaca or Stevens/Fox B, something along those lines. Not in a rush, but just went on a quail hunt and was wishing I was shooting a sxs.

I don't know much about them, but read up on Chuck Hawks' opinions on 'Affordable Doubles' here: http://www.chuckhawks.com/affordable_doubles.htm

Great pic of the RBL with the bob!

                          It just moved!!

I am a sucker for a beautiful shotgun.... and a good sxs takes the cake. I have yet to find the perfect one when i have the funds.... but i sure would like to have one and chase some blues or bobs or pheasant behind some good pointers with one!!

I don't own any yet, but I love the way they look.

I've seen Ithaca Flues 16ga fairly reasonably priced, but I havn't snatched one up yet...
