    Browning Maxus problems?

Anyone had any problems with the Browning Maxus? Really like the way it shoulders. Wanted to see if anyone here has had any problems with them? Only problems I seem to find when searching online are that the Dura Coat rubberized coating peels off, and a couple complaints of 2 3/4 shells not cycling. Thanks

Love the way they shoulder. The New A5 shoulders with the best of them too. I haven't heard of two many problems either.

Like you mentioned above.. DO NOT BY the Dura Touch. I do not know why Browning still puts it on there rifles and shotguns but the stuff is cheap.

I don't think you can buy a camo one without the Dura Touch.

I figured there would be at least a few Browning maxus owners on here.

I've heard nothing but great things about the maxus. It's one of three shotguns that is in the running for my next duck gun. Wish I owned one!!!

Well over 4k rounds through mine. Started sticking aka not recocking on second round. Broke it down (beauty of the maxus -whole 10 seconds including bolt removal), cleaned hell out of it. Lightly wipe slide down with mobil one, and no more issues

New A5 is a different action. Its inertia, it hates oil

A buddy has has the Maxus and loves it. I have the Silver. Both have the Camo and it is fine as long as you keep oil and solvents off of it.

my buddy bought one the first year they came out and is about to send it back to browning for the third time. Quit firing completley on our last duck hunt.

I bought mine day they where released. About 50% of my round count is hypersonics

As far as dura coat, its not deet friendly.

I had one and loved it. Ate everything I fed it. Never has an issue.
