Well I put my hands on a Glock 42 today... My first thoughts on the new glock is why??? Well I found out why today! It is a great option for the 380 market. I first compared it to the size of the XDS. They are similar in size, but the glock is smaller. It is also WAY lighter! It feels a lot slimmer than the XDS. The glock 42 has smoother edges and the grip isn't as aggressive. I like its overall size and feel. My only complaint is that it is a 380... I'm not a huge fan of the caliber. However with today ammo technology I would not hesitate to carry a 380. The glock 42 has a place, and I think it will do quite well. I will have some crappy pics up shortly...

i can see it selling at 399 but if it was at normal glock price I dont think it would. What about 42 vs. LC9 size wise?

There is about the same difference between the LCP and Glock as there is between the XDS and the Glock. The LCP is a great little gun, but IMO it's almost to small. The LCP is great, because my wife is on the smaller side and she has no problem concealing it on her body. She will prolly carry whichever she shoots better. Won't be able to shoot it until this weekend.

I will get some pics of it next to a LC9 tomorrow for you. Prolly very close in size.

I'm a glock guy so.... Lol! To be honest it's so small the normal glock hump in the rear of the grip tucks nicely into the palm. I wouldn't say it's your normal glock feel.
