That being said, always double check others pet loads vs. published data.

Read through these about loads for the a bolt 7-08.

Guns - Browning A-Bolt 7mm08 - What factory loads have give the best accuracy for this gun?

You're right Matteo, I'm sure, however, if you're going to verify load suggestions against a book load, you might as well work up your own load. Besides, we all know that what works in one a bolt, may not work in another, and almost certainly won't be the best load for it. Maybe close, but not custom to THAT RIFLE, because it's custom to another rifle. You cold even build two identical rifles, with identical shillen (or other brand) barrels, cut with the same tooling, to the exact same tolerances, and one will likely shoot best with a slightly different load than the other likes.

Varget has by far been the best powder for my custom Model 7 in 7mm08.

Additionally, what's safe in Bob's rifle may or may not be safe in Jim's rifle and vice versa. Just my opinion here, but one that many share, always work up your load from published data, for your rifle. Reloads are supposed to be custom tuned to your rifle anyway, why use someone else's research? You never know, his research may be flawed, he might make a typo...too many variables and too much risk.
Who do you trust with your (or your daughter's) life, limb, or eyesight?

Load it yourself or buy commercial ammo for it.

Used to be in the accuracy work-up business for folks who didn't know how, didn't have time, or just didn't want to do their own. What they got from me was a proven load--all the data (within the max loads in the manuals) and I'd even do all the case prep for them, and 5 loaded rounds if they asked for them to prove it was a good load. Did find out that lots of folks are terrible marksmen--they'd take a load I shot under a half-inch and end up with a 3" group, and come back grousing about it. I'd load up the same 5 cases with the same load, and sit down at the bench and shoot the mini-group in front of them. That shut them up.
