Need opinions on Cooper rifles....fast!

Got one on hold but have to make a decision before the end of the day.

It's a standard Model 52 in 30-06. Lefthanded, like new in the box for 1600 delivered.

Already have a heck of a good shooting Ruger Hawkeye and a gorgeous Mark V Deluxe, both in 30-06. This is more about the rifle than the cartridge.

Have read the Coopers are a little on the heavy side. I imagine probably something along the lines of a Mark V. Accuracy and quality are supposed to be superb. Some don't like the force required to cock the 3-lug bolt.

What are your opinions? I can probably sell the rifle for what I'd buy it for if I don't like it, so I'm considering buying it since I've never seen a lefty Cooper this cheap.

I'm not a fan of 30-06 but cooper some dang good guns. If you like it, buy it.

I love my Model 52 custom in .270. Yes it is heavier than some but I promise you won't be disappointed in the action. Mine is smoooooth.

Cooper makes a very fine rifle. I doubt you would be disappointed.

Decided against it. Doubt I'll ever hunt with anything but my Ruger, and regardless of how well that Cooper shoots, my Weatherby is already sub-MOA as is.

Any other lefties want it, it's all yours!

I have a Cooper Jackson Hunter in .280 Rem. That bad bow is a beast for accuracy.

For 1600 I say pull the trigger. No way you will be unhappy with it. Make sure you bore scope it before you shoot it to be safe...

I have a mod 52 Jackson hunter in 280 and LOVE it. Stellar accuracy with factory ammo is an understatement.

Customer service is second to none as well.
