AR15 question

I have never had one and really not that familiar with them. Have been looking at them and it seems there many different mfg's. I came across DPMS ar15 model a15 5.56/.223 with 1- 30 round magazine for 675.00 plus tax.
Looking at it for coyote-bobcat hunting.

You'll get plenty of dpms is junk replies, but they function.
I wouldn't take it to battle, but for your purpose, jump on it. Not a bad deal depending on exact model

That's a fair price. I have 2 and paid more for both before modifications. Of course that's when everything was a little crazy.

look at the rock river with a stainless bbl for a hunting AR...they have a great rep for accuracy.

Go with an r15 for yote hunting. Theyre crazy accurate for this platform and 556 doesnt hunt anything but brown people.

I just built this PSA for $734.11. Price includes optics, 3 pmags, shipping, tax, and ffl. This is my first AR as well, but I'm told by people who know that it is much better than the dpms.

My dpms goes boom when I pull the trigger and kills what it hits. Fairly accurate when I do my part. Can't ask for a whole lot more than that for that price IMO.

You guys should really try a Mossberg. Good grip, free float tube, and mine is very accurate. I have more expensive ARs, but no better than a Mossy. They are the ones I hunt with.

I think he is meaning that we civilians hunt animals with .223s and the military hunts middle eastern people with the 5.56. Aka getting a military class ar-15 is really not required for a hunting gun.
