    New YHM 7.62 Titanium QD

Y'all probably already know but I just saw on the YHM site that their new 2014 .30 Cal. Titanium is 7.625 inches long and only 13 ounces.

That's 2 ounces off the previous TI can. I'm gonna need a second job.

YHM is a third-generation family-owned business that leads the industry in manufacturing quality silencers, firearms, & more without adding the vanity price tag

This one is not magnum rated.

Good to know Mike, I did not realize that.

Do you know which .22 mount you are supposed to order to use this can on a Ruger 10/22with the QD hider?

        You wanna put a 7.62 can on a 22lr?

Let me rephrase that... you DONT wanna put a 7.62 can on a 22lr.

probably 1/2 -28 but you aren't going to get much suppression using a 30 cal can on a rimfire

even if you meant .223 you still wouldn't get very much suppression

Yeah I just hope they are not replacing the current magnum rated model with this one because I need at least 2 magnum rated cans.

When they say 22 caliber, they mean 22 caliber center fire. Sealed cans are not recommended for use with rimfire cartridges.

My 30 cal YHM brings my AR down to hearing safe levels, even my SBR.

when I got my 7.62 phantom qd they scared me away from a .556 mount, something about bore bigger than bullet diameter and I never researched further, just started threading the 30 cals I had.

Well, looks like somebody needs to go get another qd mount for .556, I stand corrected.

I know that the stainless phantom qd is rated up to 300rum, what can you take it down to and still get benefit?

As long as your threads are concentric to your bore a larger bore diameter will not matter.

You should see significant noise reduction on any high power center fire cartridge.
