Go for it. Shotguns are a much more personal relationship than a rifle. Drop and lop (and other things i'm sure i'm un educated on) are infinitely more important.

My grandpa got an old Charles Daly recently. An old nothing special dinged up O/U. Mentioned that it pointed well for him (were of similar height). I put it to my shoulder and it was like a glove. I guarantee i would shoot better with it than the beretta i've been sporting for the last three seasons. I fully intend to try and match the lop and whatever else i can.

<<<<Franchi Affinity. Got it as a gift. Lightweight and easy to walk through the woods with.

Got one before dove season and love it! Light weight and never jams. They're made by Benelli. The Affinity is modeled after the M2. Wouldn't take for that gun.

Franchi, great shotgun! I bought my wife a 20, we love it. Thought I heard somewhere they were made by Benelli.

I bought an Affinity earlier in the season. Great gun for the money. Actually prefer it over my A400 and Super Vinci.

Never base your shotgun purchase on price. Find the gun that fits. I shot a CZ OU that fit better than a $2k beretta OU, and I shot better with the CZ.

They are their own company but are owned by Beretta who also owns Benelli.

I retired dad's Belgian A5 20ga that I LOVE shooting quail with, several years ago. I replaced it with a Franchi 48AL deluxe .20ga. It is the fastest pointing shotgun I've ever held, it just flys to the shoulder and everything is lined up. It also kicks like a blue nosed mule, but that's ok too.

Had an OU... Should have never traded her off...

If I ever see her again, she will be mine. Very unique stock coloring...
