I'm looking for some .22 ammo

I know I'm not the only one. I also know there might be someone on here that has a stockpile they have forgotten about and will never use.
I'm not looking for a handout, don't mind paying a fair price, just not going to get hosed because it is hard to find.
I took my daughter and her cousin shooting yesterday after work and had to quit sooner than they were ready because I didn't want to shoot up the last .22 ammo we had.

If anyone has some they can part with (in the DFW area would be really convenient) shoot me a PM.

I thought all the wako "stockpile as many guns and as much ammo as humanly possible" people were getting .223, 5.56 and 7.62?

To the "end of times" people the 22 is the best survival weapon. You can carry tons of ammo and in pockets and .22 s are a very deadly caliber it's been tested out to 450 yards by some Waco doomsday preper on YouTube and was still lethal.

It's not that they aren't making it it's just that these crazies are hoarding it

It is catching up. Production has quadrupled but will take a few months. Some bulk orders are being filled. I think there is somehow people can get on Wal-Mart's online page and know when shipments are coming in. One store indicated they will line up at 7AM and it is gone by 8AM when it comes in. Eventually the hoarders will have so much they won't want any more. The ammunition companies are loving it, and that is good for us as more is being made. Frustrating if you don't have any but in a few months inventories will catch up. It has taken about 1 year but capitalism will work.

22,22WM and 6mm right now is gone. It's nuts. 243 following close behind. But everywhere I look I see 7mm 08 and 3 years ago you couldn't find any. It's crazy.

I'm one of the "crazies". I had to buy a second safe, just for ammo. I have ammo buried in metal tubes in the ground all over my "stomping grounds".

got the same. pretty bad they originally projected Jan, then Feb, now June. how can they miss projections that bad?
