if I had it to do over again I would have bought a TC ProHunter that I could switch barrels on instead of buying a muzzie that gets used for three hunts a year. Yes - I could use it more but I love my other toys that require far less work - its not a pick for range day for sure
I bought the TC Triumph - pretty much top of the line. Kicks like a mule but it is a tack driver (1/4" MOA at 100 yds) once I found the right recipe. Just like any other rifle if you are handloading only. You have to find out what charge it likes, what primer works best for the powder, what sabbot and bullet combo it likes and then perfect your cleaning and loading ritual. Consistency in loading and cleaning is the key to a really accurate muzzleloader. I have had no issues with mine. Just remember you get what you pay for. THere are some cheap ones out there.
Go with Blackhorn 209 instead of pellets. Far less cleaning. You will thank me later I promise. PM me if you need advice. Been there and bought the tshirt.

It's hard to beat CVA with the bergara barrels. Blackhorn 209 powder is your best friend. Go with a power belt bullet or a good sabot as they are both easy to load. I've owned a lot of them and my cva accura 2 is by far the best I've ever owned. I shoot harvester pt gold 300 grain bullets with the crush rib sabot and it shoots sub moa at 100 yards with 110 grains of blackhorn 209.
