Best one-piece scope mount for my AR?

I asked Arrowsmith this question, but I realized I wanted to expand the question to larger audience.

I recently traded my EOtech combo for a really nice Swarovski Z3 4-12x50 scope w/ballistic turret. I want to mount it on my AR to be a real varmint blaster.

The thing is, I need a mount. I want one of the one-piece mounts, but I have no idea what the real difference is between the Burris PEPR, the one Vortex makes, the LaRue one, etc.

I'd like it to have a quick detach ability, and I'm really interested to know how they hold zero, or if they even do at all.

Can y'all kindly provide me some edumukayshun on this topic?

I have heard great things about the quick detach mount from LaRue, but be prepared to pay

No kidding! I know they're great, and I know they're pricey, but my curiousity is whether that's due to the name, or if they offer a true competitive advantage of the Vortex, PEPR, and other one piece QD mounts.

Larue is one of the best.. Friend of mine has one and he takes it off of his rifle all of the time and when he puts it back on it holds zero just fine.

If you want to go cheaper and it not be as quick as a detach I have used the Rocker River one mount and when it is taken off and put back on it holds a zero well. Just need a flat head screw driver to take on and off.

Larue is on my rifle. Usually they are the first recommended.

Look at adm they get a lot of folks recommending them.

I got a brobo in a deal and if I didn't have the LaRue, I would not have an issue using it.

Pepr isn't bad. But your putting a great piece of glass on your rifle, why skimp on the mount?

Get a Larue and don't look back.

I have a Catalever one piece from Rock River. $50.00 I like it.

if larue is out of budget I have had no issue with my Burris pepr

I wanted to switch between an EOTech / 3X magnifier set-up, and a long range scope on an AR-10. I bit the bullet and bought QD mounts from LaRue, they absolutely work as advertised. They are solid, and hold zero.

Larue is best, but I like and run a Burris pepr

Larue if you got the cash. But American defense is a great alternative. I've got the American defense on my LWRC REPR never had any issues with the .308 recoil
