I bought this little rifle because I needed a super short rifle to serve as a truck gun. I chose a 7mm08 so my wife would be able to use it as a deer rifle too. At only 36.5 inches I wasn't expecting just a whole lot. I broke in the barrel with some 140gr Hornady superperformance and was really getting discouraged an hour in. Finally, I switched over to a box of 120gr Barnes vortex. The next three shots squeezed into a group about the size of a nickel (this was also my best grouping ever...I'm not a sniper). If you're looking for a kiddo's first rifle, a rifle for your wife, or a rifle to squeeze out the window of your truck to smack a coyote here it is. I paid under $400 including the glass.
