    Bullet Trade

I went back about a month and didn't see the old trade thread, so just thought I would post this up. Feel free to piggyback if you want/need to trade something.

I have a new unopened box of (100), 6.5 mm, 130 grain, Berger hunting VLDs for trade. My rifle like the Sierra's better, so I am going to go that route. Willing to trade in appropriate volume for:

6.5 Cal, 140-142 grain Sierra Match Kings, preferably the 140
6.5 Cal, 120 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip
25 Cal, 115 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip

I'll check to see what I have when I get back home. I need some more 130 grain Bergers for my 260.

No problem Mike. I would really prefer either the .257/115 NBT or the .264/140 SMK.

I have 140 or 123 amax and bc of the price difference I'll give more bullets

I will keep it in mind mrc, but I am really hoping to get one of the bullets I mentioned. I pretty much have loads worked up for all my rifles, and am trying to get those particular bullets. But just out of curiosity, do you know the BC of the 140 AMAX? I might think about it some more.

I'll tell you what mrc, make me a deal on the 140's. I looked on Midway and it lists them for $32 a box, and the regular (not hunting) Berger 130 for $44 a box which is about what I paid for them. I would be willing to give them a try.

Ill have to look to see how many i have but some where around 125 to 150 for the 100 bergers.I believe the b.c is 585 but i could be wrong its about the same as the bergers.

              EDIT
Sorry I was wrong I guess I shot more this summer than i thought, I only have 73 of them but I'd throw a little cash in the box to make up the difference if you are interested.

I think for just 73 of them I would rather hold on to what I have, the money isn't the issue, I wanted enough bullets to load two boxes of ammo. I do appreciate the offer though.

Bummer, I don't have anything to offer for trade.

No problem sorry I thought I had a full box and a partial. I guess when you get to shooting you lose track of things.

Yeah, I heard that. I thought I still had plenty CCI 450's (for my .223), but when I looked I am down to about 500 of them. I have 1000 or so of the 400's I can use, but prefer the 450.

Mike I know I am asking for some pretty specific stuff, but I have plenty of everything else I need. I just figured with several guys shooting the .260 on here someone would have some to trade. Times are still pretty tight on certain components though.

It's all good. I knew I didn't have the SMKs but thought I may have had a box of the 257 BTs.

I don't punch that much paper so all of my bullets are geared toward hunting instead of target shooting.

The 115 .257 NBT is nearly the only bullet I shoot in that 25-06. I shoot it for deer, coyotes, whatever as long as I have them, but I am down to about 100 of them. Now that rifle does like the Hornady 100's real well too, that is my economy bullet for coyotes when I am saving the NBT's. I've probably got 150 of them. They will be my calling bullet this spring whenever I carry the 25 in open country.
