    Here's Why I Have a .45!

The bigger the better if you have a bit of a deficit in your marksmanship skills! But, good guys win again.

A suspected intruder is dead and a homeowner is recovering from a gunshot wound after a home invasion Monday night, according to deputies.

Here's why I picked a caliber and handgun platform where I can deliver as many shots as quickly and accurately as practical. Then continue to train with it.

These stories give me the creeps. Glad the bad guy lost. Sad his stupidity and selfishness cost him his life and terrorized/seriously injured innocent people.

But don't get me wrong, anyone who comes into my home with my family with malicious intent, I don't care what he brings with him, it's ending in a gunfight.

Really? This tired old argument again?

The perp died from his wounds. Sounds like the pea shooter .380 did its job.

Yea, he died after he ran away and was driven to the hospital. I will stick to my 12 gauge for home defense.

Well I hate to see anybody lose their life. It is sad. I know that if I were in that homeowners circumstances I would have done the same thing. Its sad that people are willing to put their life on the line for a life of crime. I hate for both of the families. He was somebodies son, brother, daddy, husband etc. They will be sad. People don't think about the other people that will have to suffer for their stupidity.
