Anyone got one of these or shot one if so what do you think? I have a Ruger mini 14 I'm gonna trade for it if I like the way it shoots.

Very little experience with TC rifles, but I know they are high quality, and the 7mm-08 is an excellent round by all accounts. I will say that I probably won't buy another break action rifle, although, if I do, it will be a TC. I have a CVA in .270, and I've killed two animals with it. A fallow doe was first, one shot kill, dropped in her tracks. The second was a merino ram and close range (25 yards or so). First shot was right in the shoulder and he hunched up and turned and started coming at me. It was cold, and I was wearing gloves, and I couldn't get the spent shell out of the chamber to load another. Had to get my buddy to unload it for me so I could load another and shoot him again. -
I had a single shot TC in 7mm 08.I killed a really nice 8 pt 8 yrs ago with it.I sold it afew months after that...I never could get it to group very good.It shot well enough to kill at 100-200 yrds,but I didn't trust it past that.Tried different loads,and finally got tired of tweaking on it.Comment
