Wouldn't worry me at that range/mag/target size. Make sure your cheek weld is decent and kill em.

At that range it's not absolutely necessary but is really nice. You get a much sharper image.

Under 300 yards I don't worry about it.

I only have one scope with a parallax adjustment, but it is on the only rifle that I have that I would shoot 300 yards with.

Depends on the cartridge you are shooting.

Parallax really starts to kick your butt if you have to "hold over".

Parallax adjustment Is much more than just a sharper image.

IMO yes you need it. I've seen it have effects at 100 yards.

This AND at very short yardage too. If you want to see what parallax effect looks like at short distances. Rest your rifle on a target in the 25-50 yard range and then back away from it and do not touch the rifle but look thru the scope and move your head in a circle changing the angle you look thru it. you can literally move the crosshair (or whatever recticle you have) in a circle on the target. The point of impact would not change, but your point of aim can be badly off depending on how you look thru your scope. That's why you need a scope that is made for 22LR guns when using them on a 22LR... most fixed parallax scopes are adjusted for neutral parallax in the 100-150 range... Once you get beyond the neutral point, the same effect starts to happen again... Like someone posted above, if you mount the scope/rifle consistently and you are good at looking "straight" through your scope, no problem, but few hunting situations will allow you to do that...
