    Shotgun value needed

I have an opportunity to pick up a Remington 1100 semi auto 20ga, but I have to do it this afternoon. What is the value of that weapon in fair condition?

Fixed choke barrel or remchoke barrel? Vent rib or no?

I have seen them for about $400 in good condition, so I would assume $300 for a fair condition. I don't have a gun blue book to back that up. Maybe someone does.

i wouldnt pay more than $400 for a 20 gauge even in tip top shape. the ONLY 1100s worth more than that IMO are the 410 and 28 gauge and you can double that price.

I bought my wife an lt20 several years ago and it is a bird slayer!! heck, i have worn the finish off the bottom of the reciever by the loading gate it has been shot so much haha. If its a good deal pick it up

Luke unless its in great condition then no more than 400.and that's a stretch. If its got any wear then closer to 300.They are great guns.....we own 3 of them.Couple in 20 gauge and a 12 gauge.I think Heather paid 325 for my 12 and that was right before Dove season. It had some handling marks and probably wasn't worth 300 but it was pre dove season and not post so market and demand kinda dictated the price. Not much demand for one now so use that info as you may.Check the O rings and cycle the action a few times and work the bolt release. The 1100's are great but have a nasty habit on some of locking the bolt back and not releasing. Its some spring or clip inside the mech that goes bad.Call me if you got any more questions

Thanks Chris. I may just pass right now then. It's for sale at an auction, but it's hard to tell condition from the pictures. Going for 400 right now, I just thought they were a bit more valuable because they aren't very common. Was going to get it for Kaitlin since I broke her other 20ga not long ago. Oh well, back to fixing the old mossburg.

Yeah an older LT 20 gauge with the smooth barrel in Really good condition I could see shelling out 400 or maybe alittle more depending on how bad you want it.Remember not to long ago there were some Chicken Littles who thought the sky was falling and paid 3x what an AR was actually worth. But if you really wanted it then your the only one who has to know what you paid for it.And if it makes your woman happy then Hey.....what's a few extra dollars?
