    Lightweight slim rails??

I'm building a 14.5" 6.8 spcII for the wife and looking to keep it light weight but want a 13" rail.....

I was looking at the 13" Giessle Super Modular Rail ($280ish) when I found the Head Down Provectus 13" rail ($150).

    What are y'all's thoughts?

    Pictures always help!

I went with a Noveske NSR on my lightweight 300blk

Fortis Evo......one of the lightest rails I have found!!! Just put one on my most recent build. A 14" weighs only 11oz!!!

these are really light and so far I really like it.

Shop firearms, accessories, and more at Midwest Industries, Inc. — all made with the American quality you expect and deserve.

I don't think my 13" LaRue is very heavy at all. Troy makes a nice slim rail to fwiw

The DD lite rails are very slim and lite. I like the mk4 also...

Check out the ap customs carbon fiber tube with rails. Like having the modular sections, and the tube is light and decently priced...

Some good choices but a lot of these don't come in 13". Specifically looking for a 13" lightweight rail

Midwest Industries Gen2ss. It allows you to add rail sections only where you need it. I think they run around $150-$180. It's real slim and light weight. One of my favorite lightweight rails. We have it on my wife's 5.56 and she loves it.

x2 what Ike said. My g2 SS 15" is 10.9oz. 1.300" internal measurement. The 12" model is actually 12.625" in length at 9.3oz.
