    Red Jacket mags?

Academy had Red Jacket aluminum 30rd AR-15 mags for $9.99 today, regular $19 I think. Are they any good? I grabbed one and kind of thought I should have grabbed several but was not sure about them.

I just stick with Pmags for $10-$12.

I don't have any experience with the Red Jacket ones

Should have bought a few and tried them, or kept them in the wrapper till the next attempted ban.

They look to be standard mil spec type mags with a little extra $$$ tacked on for the name.

                Thats what I see...

Its a Spring, a follower, and some metal housing... I doubt they even touched them just get paid extra to have someone else put their name on them.

I'd bet they would do fine as its hard to screw up a milspec mag... even with their brand on them.

Well, I just bought the one. Figured if it's mil spec like the package says that I did not go wrong for $9. Yep, probably just like DD, they put their name on everthing they can during their 15 minutes of fame.

I'd rather spend a dollar more on a g2 pmag
