Winchester Ballistic silvertips discontinued??

Anyone know what the deal is with Winchester Ballistic silvertips?
Looking for .270 cal. and I have been to every store in town and searched everywhere I can think of online and I can't find anyone that has them available.
Have they been discontinued?

I experienced the very same thing. I went to Nosler's website and they still show them. The Silver Tip is a Combined Technology bullet between them and Winchester. Nosler has the same bullet minus the lube-a-lox (black) coating. I have not seen any in loaded ammo but have bought a few boxes of bullets to load.

I was looking for those in 300 WSM, they were out (at Academy in Beaumont) yet they had a ton of 270.

25-06 in the 85 grain is my preferred bullet and I can't seem to find them either.

I hated them in my .25-06. I shot the 115gr and didn't care for them. I know a lot of people who shoot them though so I'm sure people are disappointed. I figure they've come out with something new to sell. Probably some Zombie tips or something

Wow this is interesting, we have noticed they have been hard to find. We just thought being so far into hunting season everybody buys them up.

I haven't had any trouble finding them in my area. Maybe they aren't super popular in NE Texas. You know they changed the box a few years ago right???

Ha, yes I know they changed a while back. I shoot a couple boxes a year and have never had trouble finding them untill this year.
I Have not found one single place on the web that has them either.

Was at Carters country at I10 and Voss a few days ago and saw a bunch there. Don't like using them but to each his own. I don't like to go there unless I have to due to poor attitudes but I was just grabbing .224 40gr nbt's and leaving since they are the only store near with any. Good luck.

Tried them in my .243 for 2 years, my gun never liked them. Went back to the Rem Core Lock and haven't had any problems.

I've been shooting them in my .243 and .270 WSM. Like others have said, I haven't seen any in stores in awhile.
