    A couple AR15 Questions

First one: What is the difference in M4 feed ramps vs Auto or whatever the other feed ramps are considered?

Second one: Tools.... I know where to get the basic tools to assemble and maintain/clean the AR platform BUT what tools have y'all found work good that may not be mentioned in the videos? And do y'all use the special roll pin driver that is shown for installing the mag release lever roll pin, or do you just buy a standard driver and grind half of one side off?

I ordered my first stripped lower and now I'm looking at putting the tools and parts list together for the next step, so I decided to come to those that are smarter than I on this subject.

    Thanks for the help!!!

Electrical tape, flat razor blade, small needle nose pliers, and a good small punch set.

Tape the lower around the bolt catch roll pin. Lots of people ding the lower when installing that roll pin. Use the razor blade to hold the detent in while installing front push pin. That's the two I can think of off the top of my head.

wear safety glasses for when that detent that you are using the razor blade to hold down on the fron pin shoots out at you......

Dont ask me how I found that out....

a 12' piece of 1x2 for tapping in the trigger guard roll pin...

              Thanks, any other suggestion?

These things look a lot easier than the carbs I used to rebuild all the time.

well worth the investment... saves you time seeking for dropped and flying objects..

as already noted, electical tape, a good roll pin punch set and non-marring mallet / hammer
