For my hunting I use a 223, 204 and 17 hornet for fox. But I like small Calibers.

You would have to contact them. Might find other places with them too. let us know what you end up with and how it works. If you go with 17 Rem here is an example of what is available in factory loads.

Although I would probably reload for it if it was mine.

factory ammo seems a little pricey and you can either get nosler varmageddon or Remington and that's about it.

But pushing a .17 bullet at 4200 fps sounds like fun.

223 in an AR with a bull barrel, much quieter and great for follow up shots, but get in the weight room to carry it!

Ive shot several coyotes with my rock river predator pursuit and love it. Great trigger, I shoot 50gr umc Hp and have never had an exit. All shoulder shots and some around 40 yards. Never had anything run from it either!

.17HMR for me. It's killed everything I've shot at with it.

$480 isn't too bad, I like this route with a troy upper.

Who makes the best .17 HMR around? I know lots of people shoot savage, but I am curious about other options. I have been looking into getting one, and may get a CZ rifle. Thoughts?

I'm going to say .223 as well. plenty of options for ammo and it's easy to find. Don't down play the cartridge for range and accuracy either, with proper ammo guys win the 600 yard F class competitions with .223 all the time.
