    Tikka and Ruger American

My little bro and i recently purchased us some new toys. I bought the Tikka
T3 Lite Stainless w/22 inch barrell .308. Great shooting, recoils very managable. I slapped and nikon 3-9x40 prostaff scope. One i had on another gun. He bought the Ruger American Standard .308. He topped his with a nikon 3-9x40 prostaff bdc. Really nice gun, very accurate, you have to slam the bolt in to get it to close, slightly more recoil, but other than that nice gun. Mine works wonderfull no problems at all, his other than bolt good gun for the money. Mine $700.00 his $400-450.00 Anyway just a little right up.

I have a Tikka T3 Lite in 300WSM. I love that rifle. So balanced and a great shooter.

Tikka is the better choice in the long run

Sticky bolt is a known issue in the ruger. I'd have already sent it back.

You made the better choice on this one.

Or you could clean the action with some CLP. Mine was good and when I cleaned it with some CLP that action was butter. Be nice if their was some aftermarket stocks for the American.
