I have a Vortex crossfire II in 3-9x40 and I really like it. The glass is very high quality and very clear. I really like the illuminated reticle on it, similar to the firedot by leupold. The scope holds a zero very well too. My scope is on my truck gun that just rattles around in the seat and it has never bumped out of whack.
Also, I have heard that their customer service is very good about warranty work and replacements. I read about a guy who put a vortex scope on a .50 cal muzzle loader and the crosshairs came unglued and rotated in the tube. The customer service people told him that his scope wasn't rated for a .50 cal but they gave him a new one anyway. The warranty is a lifetime warranty and fully transferrable too.
I'd say go for it. The price is right and it will compete with other scopes that are above its price point.Comment
