Thoughts on TC encore

Hey guys in need of the advice of the seasoned hunters here. I have been throwing around the idea of trading my sendero II in 300 WM to get a TC encore in the same caliber. Reason being I have started reloading for a while and I am wanting to get a platform that I can have multiple calibers to play around with without having 5 or 6 bolt guns laying around. Question is are they tack drivers like a bolt gun or do they lack in that area? Thanks in advance for the words of wisdom!

I have one with two cal. 30/06 and 50 cal muzzleloader love then both. Get one but keep your sendero.

If you are reloading, and willing to play with the torque on the fore-end screw of the TC, I would expect great things. The FAT wrench can turn a good shooting load into one you'll be bragging about.

I have two Encore frames, and I ain't too proud of the trigger pulls on either. That said, they are fun to shoot!

I have one with 2 barrels.223 and 25/06.I reload for the 223 and it kicks ***.Shooting 64gr Sierra Game Kings and getting 1/2in groups. Shot 5rds and a nickel covered it.Not bad for factory barrel and trigger.Don't reload for the 25/06 yet.....should, but i don't.With Remington 100gr Core Locks it shoots 3/4 in groups and stops animals Dead in their tracks.

I had the trigger reworked on mine. 17K Hornet,204R,300WM and 375H&H. The first three all shoot under 1/2 inch 375 is 1 inch.

I have a Pro Hunter in 25-06 that's crazy accurate.
I sent my action off for trigger work....very crisp 3lb range

Got a 280 Ackley that was chamered by Mike Bellm

Love that rifle. Easy shooter and very accurate.

Have a 22-250 and 375 Norma Mag Barrel for that frame as well...both chambered by Bellm. The 375 is ported.

Get a Bellm kit and change your springs. Easy to do, and makes them MUCH better.
