    Scope Recommend $150-200

Save the lecture on how good glass is necessary. I have a 25-06 sitting in the safe that needs a scope and I'm working on a tight budget for now.

Looking at the Nikon Pro Staff, Vortex Crossfire & Vortex Diamondback

I sent you a pm. I have one that might work for you, not sure what you really want. But it does fit your budget and is proven.

Simmons blazer 3-9x50 is an awesome scope for the price (around 60.00-75.00). Pick one up and look through it, you won't be disappointed. I can see up to 500 very clear. I ranged a boar at 410yds and was able to clearly take a shot with my .223 with that Simmons mounted on it. I missed, lol but it wasn't the gun nor scopes fault. Dusted that porker.

I put a redfield on a single shot .223. Can't beat it. Also the Burris Fullfield isn't bad for $200. I've got that one on my .17hmr.

In that price range, warranty would be a big big deal to me. For that reason i would stay away from nikon due to their limited warranty. Unless they have changed it.

Leupold vx2 or vortex would be my choice for a scope in that range. possibly a vx3 3-9

I have a Burris Fullfield II on my A-bolt and it has been an excellent scope. Good warranty too.

Nikon glass is nice for the money. I have 5 or so from Prostaff to Monarch. Sportsmanguide had VX2 for 299.00 which isn't too bad either. Vortex is another great option.
