I'm not sure about the sparrow but the Spectre is rated up to 5.7x28. It can be used on 22LR, 22 Mag, 17HMR and up to 5.7 x 28. that's why I chose the Spectre.

For reasons stated above by Mike, Spectre is the way to go.
I shoot mine through a MKII and its insanely quiet.
