    6.5 Creedmoor

Well I ordered a Savage 12LRP 6.5 Creedmoor yesterday and it shipped today (budsgunshop of-course). I read some good reviews on it and it is right what I am looking for. Yes it is not a 3,000 custom bolt gun but it will do for me.

So my question is what are some good loads for Long Range target shooting (800+) and for hunting deer and small game. I have a lot of Varget powder if there any good loads for that. Thanks in advance.

Going to put a Zeiss 6.5x20x50 Mil dot on top I have in the safe.

I love my model 12. Most accurate out of the box gun I have ever had.

Good to hear. I haven't read to much negative on it. The picture on Savage and Buds is of the old HSP stock. There is a new model out and I hope mine has it. There is no way to tell until I get it.

Hodgdon's online reloading data center and annual loading magazine have a lot of Creedmoor data too.

I just boght a savage model 10 pred max in 6.5 creedmoore tuesday. My buddy has one and his shoots hornady, ballistic tips, barnes and VLD's in the 120-140 gr awesome. H4350 and varget are suppose to be 2 really good powders for it. Ill work some loads up next time I'm home, but he has sent me some pics of what the 129 SST does on hogs and it is wicked!

Well how does it shoot? Surely you have put something down range by now.

The picture of the stock on Savage and Buds is not the one you get. It is a different HSPercision stock. I like this one more. I did a bunch of reading and there was no way to tell which one you would get.
