But, I am way past stir crazy in anticipation of opening weekend... 12 days to go... 11 till im at the ranch... im going absolutely nuts to get in the woods. I am blood thirty.. . A rabbit, hog, deer, armored possuim, squirrel, something gonna die!! I always carry an extra arrow for a judo chop!!! I hope a cow doesnt come in close enough or ill be tempted to get some steaks!! Haha jk.. kinda...

I just realized that I'll be in Wyoming opening weekend ... hunting pronghorn.

I guess I'm in the minority here. I haven't been on a lease in years and the archery opener really doesn't mean anything to me, nor does it get me excited. I hunt all year, so my season never really closes.

Just finished up all my chores at the lease. It's GO time! I'm pretty stoked. Haven't drawn blood yet with my new rig yet.

This time of year is always difficult and exciting for me.

Still in college, my senior year, and its about right now that the classes really go into full gear, and I can't do a **** thing to keep my mind off deer hunting.

On an awesome note, I think I have 4-5 different areas of the state to hunt this year if I play my cards right. Travis county, kerr county, edwards county, blanco county, and caldwell county.
