Bought the M3500, anyone else shoot this shotgun?

Well bought the new stoeger 3500. Took it out and shot some
Dove yesterday with jooger. At first it didn't want to reload next shell after ejecting first round. Sprayed some break up gun oil in the action and after a few more shots seemed to do fine. This was with 2 3/4" low brass. I thought this problem had been resolved with the M3500 at least the guy at pawnshop told me it had. Hopefully it won't give me any more problems. Anyone else had this issue with there M3500? And what did you do to correct it

Even new guns need cleaning and lubed before shooting. It was probably havi g issuesnbecause it was dry.

If it was new, they have a bunch of grease on the bolt from the factory that needs to be cleaned off.

I shoot one for duck and goose, and has been as reliable for me as any of the higher dollar auto loaders in cold, wet, and dirty conditions. It would not be my go-to for shooting lighter loads until it's at least well broken in, even then would shoot a bit hotter/heavier loads. Gonna run into the same issue with any heavier inertia-driven shotgun.

I have the 3500 and it only likes 1 1/8 ounce Remington Gold Nitro's or Winchester AA 1 1/8 ounce. Both shooting around 1300 fps. those are the only 2 dove loads I can get it to cycle everytime. Duck loads cycle flawlessly, but as I said above.. For dove those 2 factory loads are the only 2 I use. I haven't been able to get it to cycle anything under 1 1/8 ounce loads.

Might need to be broke in good. I've had the same problems with several Benelli shotguns, but after you shoot them a while with heavy loads and clean them they work great on light loads too.

Nary a problem with mine, other than watching the barrel rust this past Saturday while teal hunting. It will be getting a cerakote treatment between teal and big duck season.

How many rounds do you have through it? The manual recommends at least 100 rounds of full strength (heavy) loads before shooting the light stuff.

Only put like 6 rounds of heavy loads stell shot thru it and that was when I could get it to reload the low brass lead shot. Oops guess I should have read some more! But like I said I've shot several times since and haven't had a problem yet so it may be fine. Love the gun so far!

New guns need to be cleaned of the original grease, and inertia driven guns need a good breaking in. Light dove loads will cycle fine once it's cleaned properly and broken in.

Between it being new and a 3(1/2) chamber it'll have some issues at first cycling a 2(3/4) shell
