I have the P226 and it is a fine weapon. I don't think you'll like the trigger. It's a DA/SA trigger. The DA is long and not exactly light. The SA has a short light take up then breaks at what I would guess is 6-7lbs. Try one out.

between the glock and M&P i feel it would be easier to change the trigger on the M&P vs the grip on the glock.

Myself i would look into a 1911 in 9mm, especially if you shoot a 1911 in .45....but the M&P pro series are some nice guns.

The grip on the glock is easy to change... just add heat Stipling the grip on my glock 22 made it one of my favorite guns I have pics of it somewhere... all you need is a couple hours and a soldering iron.

I had a Springfield EMP and loved it. It shot like a dream.

I have the EMP in a 40 and love it... I however had fits with it and its crappy titanium firing pin. replaced it with a steel one from STI (Thanks Chris) and its rocking and rolling now... but I still dont have the confidence in it to carry it.

Either on is fine really. Lookin at the strikers the most cuz I want high cap. If I get a hammer it's gonna be a 1911

Check out FNx or FNs in 9mm. I have an FN-P9 and its SA/DA. SA is fairly light trigger pull, DA is around 11lbs like everyone else, but its smooth. PLENTY of IWB or OWB for it all over, and takes apart like a Sig. has a hammer release as well. i like the ergonomics of hte grip in my hand as well.
