I got the giesselle S3G single stage trigger in my AR. This super 3 gun trigger is IMO the best

This is what I have. Prefer the 3.5 lb spring for hunting. Like the 4.5 for plinking though. There are a lot of good triggers on the market

I had a Stag that had the factory two stage trigger in it (RRA trigger right?) and I switched it out for a single stage Timney from cabelas. IMO, it wasn't worth the $250 to trade it out. That factory trigger wasn't bad to begin with and the Timney didn't just give me the wow I thought it would. Have a RRA now and the factory trigger in it does fine. But I'm not much of a trigger guy unless its just horrible. I've heard the Gisselle's and Jards are a better name to go with.

I have three Timneys and one McCormick. I prefer Timneys.

Not a prob... I don't have any of mine but here's some pretty clear pics of it from the web.

Its adjustable in every step of the trigger, which makes for a delicate see saw... If you tighten/loosen one screw you effect the others.

The first one took a bit to figure out.. After that one i can slap one in a lower in about 25 minutes. The longest part is usually threading the grip hole all the way through the receiver... Then it's just adjusting screws and testing.

Just replaced my lmt trigger w an alg qms. Is a little better, but it definitely needs to be shot.

Coach, someone was high when they designed that . Its crazy looking!

Jard thinks outside of the box no doubt. You should see the ruger no1 trigger I installed of theirs... One single piece replace all the linkage and pivots but the safety... Their 77/22 is quite functional and crisp as well. it's obvious they know how to make simplicity into an art form.

Ruger no 1 comparison... Original linkage then 1 piece jard trigger.... But now you got me all off task.

I have either a Geissele SSA or SSA-E in every one of my AR's...hunting or not.
                        They are awesome fail-proof triggers.

For hunting I like single stage, I also like a drop in assembly so I went Timney and love it.

What about the cmc drop in triggers?

I have 3 timneys in my platform rifles. I liked the ease of installation and consistency of pull on them. Any of the aftermarket units will definitely improve accuracy. My Sig 716 shoots sub-moa @100 with the stock trigger it was a creepy less than 2 moa.

They have been around for awhile now and here recently they have blown up in the shooting feild. Very nice triggers and Texas made.
