    AR build sheet help

    Well, after about 5 months, I finally got a hold of a LAR Grizzly OPS-4 side charging upper and not really sure what parts I need/want to go with. I've been going back and forth from a lightweight barrel, medium barrel to bull barrel and can't really make up my mind. I'd like this to be a hunting AR, so I'd prefer 16" and atleast a 1/8 twist... Besides that... HELP!

    This also means I'm looking for parts, so if you have something you think I need feel free to shoot me a pm! A buddy mentioned I should go the piston route, but that talk sounds a tad Greek to me...

    If you have links to parts as well, I sure would appreciate it!!

      After my 16" 5.56 build is done I'm doing a 24" bull barrel 6.5Grendel. Really looking forward to that!!!

          I'd like to keep this a .223/5.56. Will be hunting hogs mostly, but would like to use it for a doe/coyote rig as well. Will be wearing a suppressor 99% of the time, so a 14.5" barrel is ok as well.

            6.5 Grendel is a great round! I use my 300BLK for pigand varmint hunts. Soon to be supressed...Its a good thing that the price on these wonderful bsticks is starting to drop!

              Alexander Arms has a good selection of 6.5 parts....well they did..not sure anymore i havent been on the site in a while. They also make a .17HMR in an AR platform which will be my next toy

                  I would have gone for the bull barrel until you mentioned the suppressor. Too much weight in total.
