Just because the gun shortage seems to be over, as is evident from another thread in this section, doesn't means the Libs and "scaredy cats" won't try to make your gun a paper weight. I'm not stying it will work but they sure keep pugging away it.

Well they were talking about it again this morning on Fox News because Congress is about to go into "session" in 9 days and it was said that a Dem Congressman was going to propose a bill reflecting the same information that was in the article.

Frankly Coach this makes my point even stronger....they never stop

My point: I think you are giving them more power than they actually have... All those proposed "sin gun taxes" never came to pass... And died with that article in march...

You are absolutely right about that.
The Dems will continue doing this gun grab thing and get a little bit at a time until they can get just the right circumstances to get a big bite. Historically it usually falls apart over time but they did get the "assault weapon" ban at one time so it pays to be vigilant at all times.

My first thought was equivalent to a pack of wolves that attack the haunches of a deer/moose/elk until they fatigue the animal enough until it just resigns itself to death.
