1911 Custom Grips

Ok so i am thinking about getting custom grips for the 1911. But some nice custom ones seem kinda boring to me.....SOOOO i was thinking about buying a wolly mammoth tusk or a saber tooth tiger tooth and getting a couple made. What are yalls thoughts. Also if you have any custom grips on your 1911 lets see them. Here is one with rattlesnake.

Some of the mammoth grips catch my eye but then I see the 600.00 price tag and talk myself out of them.

Grips on 1911's are like shoes for women. You can't have too many.

I've made a few pairs. There's some pics floating on here somewhere of them. It's not easy getting the holes lined up just right. Even on wood grips with a template for the holes I have to be really careful drilling the initial holes, then carefully file them out so they fit the gun perfect without any slop or wiggle room. Haven't done any in a while though. My business venture took a turn and now I've got a product in a popular online store that is taking all my spare time to fulfill and prepare for.

ya chris kyle grips would be cool. i have a buddy that built an AR off the recommendations of chris and it would be cool to have grips on a 1911 to go along with it.
