What do you think about the LE9000 light carbine .223 on sale at Cabelas sat.
$849.99, is it a fair price & is it a good product. Thank you for your response.
for 850? watch walmart for a colt 6920 and pay a little extra, like 150 or so, for the real deal.
from anothe site
I understand these are actually manufactured by Anderson Arms and thrown in with a deal between Cabelas, Colt and Anderson and are discontinued models, not real Colts with their quality. if you go to Colts home website, you wont see them, just some info I picked up on other sites, but you know if it is on the internet it must be true. I personally will hold off.
I saw that on the Cabelas ad and was wondering about it also. Never heard of that model. I already have the LE6920 and a Sig, but was intrigued by the price with the Colt name.
"Other features that you will read from my posted thread link are, the Light Carbine have 1/8 twist non chrome lined barrel, the barrel have no high pressure test and magnetic particle inspection stamps, it have a 9.5" aluminum free floating handguard without vent holes, the upper receiver does not have a ejection port dust cover, also no forward assist, the lower receiver have a solid integrated enlarged fixed trigger guard, it have a 6 position mil-spec size buffer tube and M4 style stock with quick detachable sling swivel mounts.
It is a licensed Colt product not made by Colt, it is made for Colt by a Kentucky AR manufacturer, and it had been discontinued."
