Thompson Center Icon .243

I won the Icon the other night at a Friends of the NRA benefit in .243. Not a bad gun for 20 bucks and went and picked her up today. Anybody own one, the good and bad? I may end up trading it for a pistol or shotgun, we have plenty of deer rifles already and we primarily bowhunt. The shop I picked it up from doesn't sell any, anyone know the value of them? It has a walnut stock. I haven't gotten tapatalk yet but if anyone wants to see it I can text a pic and try to have it put up.

Haha my BIL is trying to give me $60 for it because "he's the reason I won" cause he through the benefit. I bought a ticket like everyone else, I just got lucky.

a buddy of mine owns one in 7-08 and it is a tack driver. i have shot it and it felt good to me. If you dont have kids yet you can put it away for later, or just sell/trade it.

They've had a recall or two since they came out... I haven't been impressed with TC since Smith and Wesson bought them.

That's no good, I think I am going to sell it anyway but will check and see if this was is a recall before I do. It's a really pretty gun but I was born to hate the .243, Dad hated/hates them. Thank you for that link Coach!
