I am helping a friend build a super budget AR for a beat around truck gun. Do yall think I can build it cheaper than this?

Yes you could go cheaper. Delton has a few rifle kits. They run $500 from midway. Everything but the lower. Or

Get rid of that quad rail. I love my magpul moe handguard and they run about $30 on amazon.

$450 + $175 = $625 - the $100 for your lower you already have = $525 + S&H

They have 2 other upper for about the same price....

I got the LPK as a PSA build kit that also comes with pistol grip, buffer tube, and stock. So I think that isn't a bad deal.

I need to look at the already assembled uppers as I was thinking that they would be more than piecing them together.

Which Quad rail & BCG are you using? Just curious. I'm looking for a cheap BCG.

This has a 400 dollar optic on it. So your in the gun about 600. It's factory and complete. Buy the gun and sell the optic or keep it.

Yep.

That's a good deal on the BUILD kit. Like you said, it finishes out your stripped lower. Not just the regular LPK.


I've used that kit in about half a dozen rifles so far this year. Pretty good bang for your buck.
