I have the 45, but I didn't buy it to shoot it a lot. I bought it for a carry gun, and it works very well for that purpose. It shoots pretty good, the recoil is no more than any other 45 I've shot. It really does feel good to know that your carry is very capable if you need it.

Right on my only thing is I plan on shooting it alot because it will be my carry gun. IMO practice is great with any gun but its better with the one you intend to carry which is why I will be shooting it more.

I've shot both and honestly neither is bad on recoil at all. Personal preferance is the 9 but I'd be happy with a 45 as well.

I like them better than the Shields.

If you ever get down around Spring (N of Houston) let me know and I can let ya shoot one for free.

Pearce mag extension makes a world of difference.

If your gonna go to Bass Pro in SA anytime soon, holler. You're welcome to try mine out.

My son Joe picked one up a few months ago(45) and we both have shot it. Have about 500 rds through it now. Quite accurate and the Talon Grip helps manage the recoil even more. Eats everything we have fed it. Semi wads...steel case Tula, CCI aluminum case. Have not had one FTF.

I love mine (45) . Mine is very accurate . My wife shoots it without any problems . Recoil isn't any worse than any other small 45

The fps drop is very small from a full size barrel, so that little 3.3 inch packs a true 45 punch. No safety and an ambidextrous mag release keep it simple and easy to operate. It's an accurate shooter and I love the aggressive grip, though some say they wish it was less harsh.
This pretty much sums it up for me!

JFisher is right, the Pearce extension is worth the $10!
