    Who has an xds?

What do you think about it? Does the .45 have too much recoil to make it uncomfortable to shoot or too hard to remain on target for a follow up shot?

i have one and love it. I dont think the recoil is bad at all. Very small and comfortable to carry too. I did put a talon grip on it to make it more comfortable though. It was like $15

I have shot one in .45, it is a nice shooter. no bad at all, very comfortable. If it was in .40, I would already have one. Probably, get froggy and get them all one day.

i sold my .45 after 100 rounds due to the fact i thought it was a lot of caliber for such a light gun imo. i also shot it next to my dads sti shadow in .45 so might have something to do with it

I have one. I switched from a glock 27 to the xds. I recently shot my FIL's 27 side by side with my Xds. I don't believe there is anymore recoil in the Xds. In fact to me it seems to push more than kick/jump. I invested in the pinky extenders by pierce grips and they make all the difference in the world

I have one, no problems shooting it. It is not going to happen in the first 2 shots, but you will adjust. My XDM is easier to shoot, but then again it is probably 50% longer.

I've got the XDS 45 and absolutely love it. Doesn't jump much and very accurate! Looking for the XDS 9mm for the wife!

I have the 45 and love it. Low bore axis keeps the recoil very manageable for quick follow up shots. The fps drop is very small from a full size barrel, so that little 3.3 inch packs a true 45 punch. No safety and an ambidextrous mag release keep it simple and easy to operate. It's an accurate shooter and I love the aggressive grip, though some say they wish it was less harsh.

I had one. Looked nice, but didn't like the feel. I'm not bashing it in any way. But I traded a fellow tbh brother for an M&P 45 I been wanting and have no regrets. I love my m&p

P.S. - My wife actually enjoyed shoooting my XDs after a few rounds to get accustom to it.
