A guy at work is selling a ruger m77 compact in a 308 qith 3x9 leupold scope wood stock and is asking $500 for it just wantin to get some opinions on if the price is right before I commit

Great platform with the mauser bolt/controlled feed action. I have an M77 in 30.06 and would never part with it. It's even a better rifle with the right load work up. Good solid platform and good glass for the asking price.

I used to have one in .308 as well. I'd still have it but some SOB stole it!
