    M&P9 trigger upgrade

I bought a new M&P9 and the trigger is gritty and is just not up to par with the rest of the gun. Ive done a lot a research and most are saying to install the Apex DCAEK (Duty/Carry Action Enhancement Kit) and RAM (Reset Assist Mechanism) Kit.

Have any of yall installed either one or both of these kits in yalls m&p's? Whats your opinion?

I looked on a lot of other forums, but I only trust the mighty minds of the green screen.

Get ready to break out $100 plus for the DCAEK and RAM.

It makes it better but the reset is still very, very weak.

How long have you had it?

Mine started out gritty but smoothed out fairly quickly. Now it has no grit to it at all.

Ive only had it about 3 weeks, but ive put close to 1k rounds thru it already and it still feels like new, unfortunately.

Instead of installing the Apex kit parts which are one size fits all send it off to ATEi for 119.00 and they will completely go through it and make exact custom parts and polish others..It is where both of mine are going when I get a chance..
