    I almost "pulled the trigger."

    On a new 300 Win mag yesterday at cabelas. First off I am a huge fan of Browning guns. While glancing through the selection of these guns, a long barreled stainless stalker caught my eye. It was called a browning long range hunter. 26 in flutted barrel, with a somewhat "tactical" look on the synthetic stock. This may be old news to some, but being a browning fan I have never seen this gun before. Fell in love to say the least. I'm sure I will be back soon to buy it

    Anyways, just a heads up for those with interest.

    i got a
    a bolt stalker in 7 mag last year took it to west texas last year and am takeing her mule deer hunting in wyoming this season luv the rifle the 26 inch barrel took some getting used to

      I took my first two deer with my old man's A-Bolt White Gold Medallion in 300 Win Mag....gorgeous gun, although I think even if I had missed the deer would have died from sheer amazement at the loudness of the report when that Howitzer of a gun went off.

        I saw a Vanguard S2 in .257 weatherby magnum in there the other day. Really caught my eye as I've been wanting one for a while. Dang wedding is taking away all my fun money though.

            White gold medallions are beautiful guns. When I graduated A&M, I wanted a new X bolt WGM, but they were not available for purchase in 243 at the time. Ended up going with the regular medallion. Still an looker. I hear you on the loudness! My A-bolt 280 has a BOSS on the end of it. Makes the gun crazy loud!

            Here is a picture of the gun. $1243 out the door. I cant find the gun anywhere else to compare prices to Cabelas. Will be my first synthetic stock gun if I do buy it (very likely lol).

              Just bought my 11 year old and x bolt target 26" 308 it is awesome, also have the A bolt in 280 best gun ever owned it shoots 5/8" , 308 don't have glass yet but will soon
