The Ruger SR series is pretty nice. Only down side is the trigger. But if its for CC nothing like a 8lb trigger to know you really did mean to shoot someone....

What ever you chose make sure you take the class with a semi-auto not a revolver

Where you located? I have a couple of glocks, 19 & 23, a 1911, Taurus 24/7, etc... If your close I could meet you at a range and you can try these out. Also have access to a XDs 9 and a XDs 45 I could bring. You buy the ammo...
