Can I use 5.56 30 round pmags for a 6.8 upper? I was thinking that I was gonna buy a 5.56 but I got a 6.8 instead and now I have 2 pmags that I'm not sure will work. Thanks for the help guys!

After 10 rounds the magazine body will bulge. But they work fine up to that point. Magpul just released a 6.8 pmag for LWRC's proprietary lower that will not fit in a standard AR magwell. Don't buy one thinking that it will fit because it wont.Comment

Yup. Like billy said, it will work for a low capacity. I've got an extra 25 round C-products 6.8 mag brand new, never fired if you are interested in it.Originally posted by bigchiefj View Post
