Big can of Ammo at Academy

They had a barrel of 7.62 at Cabelas in Fort Worth. It was there for over a month and the price kept dropping on it. Haven't been in a while but I would bet it is still there

Yep. I like my .223 / 556 closer to 30 cents per round.

Yeah. I like the .34-.37/round price. $.51 is a little crazy especially for that ammount.

I think Academy has finally fallen into the price gouge trap. I was at the one in Tomball today and they had plenty of ammo in stock but the prices seem much higher than preBama so I bought one box of 22lr and passed on the rest....

I can't speak for all there stuff but I've seen this 30 gallon beast before and it's been the exact same price for 1.5 Years now... With the occasional sale on Xmas, fathers day, turkey day, February (as its black gun history month)

I saw the same thing and was scratching my head. It seemed to be 20-30% higher than 6 months ago. I also passed.

From what I'm seeing, Academy is still cheaper and has more in stock than anywhere else. JMO
