I picked up a new Springfield XDS 9mm earlier this week. Today I finally had time to take it apart and remove all the factory grease. I cleaned it well and put a pretty heavy cost of oil on all parts that contact each other.

I have had the mag loaded for a few days to help the break the spring in. I run a box of PMC 115 grain jacketed hollowpoints through it with no malfunctions. The little pistol is amazingly accurate! All shots were fired at 15 yards. The trigger is very nice, reset is perfect. It is defiantly worth the money spent. Only problem was one of mags that came with it was defective, feed lip was cut wrong. Springfield has me a new mag on the way.
